I just feel that it's so ridiculous for the NCAA to allow excessive spending like the deal that Nick Saban will be receiving from Alabama to coach football, not find a cure for cancer...but coach football.
The big college sports bring in major caysh, yet the kids playing the games are just given scholarships..a small investment when you think about how much money schools will make off of them playing for them. And, to add insult to injury, the rules/guidelines that they make these kids have to adhear to border on draconian. All in the name of keeping "college sports pure"...give me a break! Let a kid have a fishfry or something to get his parents enough money to go see him play in another state and the NCAA comes down on them like a ton of bricks. But it's okay to give a football coach so much money, that you can't even begin to justify it with a straight face...even worse? The administration will call for a overall tuition rate hike in a heartbeat with no remorse what so ever.
