I'm sick of this site called www.votefortheworst.com; it's the main reason Sanjaya is still there and I want him gone! The only problem is that it's backed by Howard Stern.

Television ratings have been designed to assist parents/guardians in determining which shows may be inappropriate for children. What are the limitations of the current television ratings? Why are they inadequate (or adequate, depending on your perspective)? How might ratings alter television content?

Many critics point out that television often presents violent, sexual, or graphic content. However, we can probably say this about many mediums (music, movies, etc). Why does television face so much controversy? what makes television different from a violent movie we see in the theater, or a song we choose to download off the Internet and listen to?

The essay is 7pgs doublespaced, and about how media controls the minds of the people, and we are not a democracy. It is due tomorrow, and I have looked at it and read it over so many times that I can't look at it objectively to see anything that needs to be fixed. If you can do this for me and you are a good writer, pleaseeeeeee email me at bsgirl4ac@aol.com and I will reply with the essay. I will be so grateful.

I personally think that it is just a competition and Sanjaya is lucky to get this far with his average talent. But why do Indian news channels play the Indian public to be fools with a racist angle?

Many years ago I remember seeing the little girl running along with most of her skin burnt away by the use of chemical bombs during the Vietnam War.
I was horrified that such a thing could happen and felt sick. I could not get that image out of my mind for ages.
Now although I feel sorry for the sights we are shown, I no longer have the same feelings. Why is this? I am a caring person and would help anyone, but feel so diffrent about things I seem to have no control over.

Been on the news all morning. I guess grass growing in an influencial neighborhood is more newsworthy than pot growing in a bad neighborhood. The only difference is that this one had solar panels and all the trimmings that an "influencial" person could afford. I

What is the best way to get this story out into public view? Local news agencies seem to be dragging their feet. This kind of fraud needs to be stopped and public officials that lie and cheat should be treated like any other criminal.
