is possessing a fake press pass illegal?

if it has the name of a real newspaper/agency?

if the name on the pass isn't yours?

if you use the pass to gain entry to an event?

my friend works for the AP, and i scanned his press pass (with his permission). i took out all identifying info, put in a fake name, and printed it up nicely. then i glued on a passport photo from walgreens, laminated it, and attached a neck lanyard. i even "aged" it a little so it looks like i've had it for a while.

all in all, it looks awesome...reeeally awesome!

combined with a vest, and the right attitude, i think this pass could definitely get me into some cool shooting situations.

i'm considering making another with my real name, since my biggest concern is the legality of using a false name. any help??

i am thinking of those who have had fun deriding bush for not knowing the capital of some absurd country or, the religious make-up of another.

wouldn't it be just as easy to point out intellectual shortcomings and flaws in these same people if their every word was recorded for prosperity?

for one, i worry about the slippery sloped logic of and lack of critical thinking skills among these people who are supposedly so much smarter yet, have allowed themselves to become immersed in their own pompousness and snobbery.

I mean, why do they have to drag this all out. They now know the cause of death, but won't tell til Monday.

A simple DNA test will tell who is the baby's father.....yet, that is still being dragged out, too. Why not just do the danged thing....say who the Dad is....and put it all to rest?

Why are the people in charge creating even more drama? All this needed to end weeks ago.

Is it possible to employ carefully developed psychological techniques, to guide our thought and opinion so that we can be in tune with the "in" crowd, the "beautiful people," the "smart money." They let us know exactly what our attitudes should be toward various types of people and behavior by placing those people or that behavior in the context of a TV drama or situation comedy and having the other TV characters react in the Politically Correct way. Are we sheep, sheeple or what?

I was a reader once, but they lost me when they checked out peanut butter... I love peanut butter. Their favorite brand soaked through the bread.
Since then I don't even pick up the magazine which seems to be a good thing considering the lousy job they've been doing lately, with all the retractions and such.
Do you still count on this mgazine for objective and accurate reviews?

I waited months for that report, and found that although a lot of people are not doing well, on the whole Britain has never been better. Inequality is terrible, I don't know if worse than the tories got it. I don't think New Labour have put hundreds of thousands out of their home, like the thatcher government.

So why is there no good publicity for them? The article had a lot of praise. Is the popular press all conspiring in favour of Thatcher and the tories? Blair has kept in power under nothing but criticism and biased news presenters. I don't really like him but Thatcher's reign wasn't as credible.

The Alvin Ailey company had just recently flew in from New York and today they attracted media. My friends and I tried to get their attention but they only focused on one of my friends. Me and my other friend are both asian. My friend that attracted media is jewish. When a reporter from channel 5 came to interview our dance group he said that he only wanted to talk to my jewish friend. Then when he was finished he asked who wanted to be interviewed next out of our small group. And only me and my other friend raised our hands. Then the guy just went on to this other girl that was in our group even when she didnt want to get interviewed! she turned him down and he went on to another group. I had notice that all the journalists and reporters had only wanted to interview the american and mexican kids in our class. Doesnt this sound rascist?

My friend saw the live broadcast about her cancer and John Edwards said he hit his wife?? I assume it had to be some kind of joke - but can not find anything in the rebroadcasts... who saw this?

It appears as if they have cut it out of anything playing online now. I find the statment odd to begin with, but find it even odder that it is cut out now. Have to wonder what else we don't see in our evening "sound bites".
