She was driving in Dallas Texas several years ago and hit another car head on killing herself and a woman driving the other car. I am just wondering how to look it up.

The obit would probably run in her hometown paper, not the Dallas paper (unless that is her hometown)

Id start with typing her name into a search engine and see where it takes you... Id try checking local papers for the area she lived in and perhaps writing to the paper directly, asking them to check back issues...you will have to pay for that though. try the newspaper place their where they make prints they keep alot of extra prints-worked there before and my friend died so i got her obit that way
