Well, I don't know if you can remember when bar codes were first introduced in the United States, but I do. At the time, I was very involved with a church. It was not a radical, by no means. But, many people had the same or similar reaction. I tend to think that reactions like this is pretty common when something very different is introduced, especially when it's connected with government and world-wide use. Religion, sometimes, is taught with a fear of the devil and especially the "mark of the beast - 666".
