I think the editors were ready to consider following the audience opinion, but probably backed off when they saw the polls' results:

It seems weird to me that the Russian's would vote in favor of santioning Iran for nuke development. Iran is one of Russia's best friends. We never santion Isreal when votes come up in the U.N.
What do they gain from it? Wouldn't they risk alienating Iran?

Shouldn't there be a connection between birth control pills and breast cancer as well???? Why was that never discussed in the news? We are seeing more and more women develop this disease BEFORE menopause.

I wasn't at that radio station a long time but I worked with this guy. He was so impressive on the air. Did all THE RED ROSE MOBILE HOMES commercials. He left and went to ROCK HILL, S.C.(another station). One of those personalities you don't forget. He had a BAD LEG if I remember. We often stop in ROCK HILL on our way to FLA to eat at the WENDY'S. I ask everybody if they remember him. THEMOJOMAN---themojoman.com

The fact that a Maine Homeless Advocate Sued the state of Maine for its part in allowing cities & towns to MISREPRESENT Aid Laws, was Not carried by local state news.

Even the lack of coverage in the national news leads one to think the media seems to think the issue of Fair treatment for 25% of all America's is a non news item.

According to Brian J. Ostrom, in Examining the Work of State Courts, 1999-2000: A National Perspective from the Court Statistics Project 32 (2001), “In general civil cases resolved by trial, 4 percent involved a pro se defendant and 2 percent involved a pro se plaintiff. The largest number of pro se litigants were found in contract cases, where almost 9 percent of defendants were unrepresented.”

In order for Justice to Prevail, 100% of all people without lawyers must have cases decided upon the facts at trial. Not dismissed upon a technicality before trial. America can Cure Poverty, by treating all persons as idealized -respectfully.

A person I know had sold a horse trailer in 4/2006 the purchaser hadf made some payments, no time frame on contract, hand-written on apiece of paper, the original owner took the trailer has hidden it and gone into hiding, in the mean time both parties are going from person to person with there sob story, 99% do not wish to become involved because they have nothing to do woth the so called contract of the horse trailer. The person who purchased the trailer who I have never seen before yesterday appoarched me weeeehere I keep my horse and wanted the same3 information as the other party who sold the trailer, he said I know where you live, I know your car, I know where your horse is and he even went so far to say I know what your dog looks like, is this a threat, I am becoming very concerned as I know nothing about the horse trailer of its where abouts or the person who took it, both parties want to invole everyone with this situation, they wouldn't accept I want nothing to do with it,

1.mainstream media..it's mostly about making money.
2. it tells the story it feels the majority wants to hear so it can keep it's readers and watchers.
3. for the most part, readers and watchers are happy to remain at a primitive level of black and white thinking AND be told what to think.

Female celebrities had themselves a double page in the Daily Mail not long ago. There was two pictures of each. One of their public face and another where the paparazzi had caught them off guard.
So real-life they should do this on billboards. Give their consent to show their faces without make-up and educate all these teenage girls that ruin their lives trying to look like them. Or even better ... do you need their consent to plaster that double spread in the mail onto billboard size posters. Or is it all about who owns the copyright to the pictures?
And before anyone starts ... it's not about embarrasing the celebs. It's about them showing that it is allright not to be shiney and polished and trimmed all the time.
