I had a friend that died and it took a long time for any information to be reported on the Internet. All I could get was his obituary which was published after his actual funeral date.

The only reason why I found out was because of other friends who knew how to get a hold of me.

All I can say is try the local newspaper that you think would print anything and search..

Try going to a phone directory for the city, and looking up the funeral homes. Many have sites and they list who is currently there. If they have an email site you might want to write them and give the name. They will likely be sensitive and helpful and find out for you.

You might also try writing the newspapers and sometimes the reporters or staff there will help you especially if you are related.

2007 hasn't happend yet, so unless you have a time machine, you'll want to look for 2006. Obituaries may not be out yet, either, since it was only yesterday. So, unless there was a specific article about him (not likely, since he was 13) he may not be in the papers at all.

given his age ( under 18) the information will most likely not be published in detail.

keep checking the newspapers for the obitiaries, but it may not be posted.

best way to get accurate info is from your family since he is a minor, they may not release all the details. and check your date...
