Because the Israel lobby is so strong and so aggressive.

Any comment no matter if ill-intentioned or not which casts aspersion on the State of Israel, its policies, or a Jewish institution is promptly labeled anti-Semitic. There is no chance of a real debate on the subject, and therefore all criticism is struck down.

The U.S. media is undoubtedly pro-israel. why do you only see one view on every issue in regard to the middle east, terrorism, and the concerns in America. Now occasionally you might see a few different view points but those viewpoints are strangled by condescending publications and news channels. so much for fair and balanced news. Anything that even slightly opposes the viewpoints of the pro-Israel followers is considered anti-semitic. as Americans we must consider and ask how fair our liberties are, especially when we are fed each and everday the same views and thoughts.

As a matter of fact, there is great congruence between being pro-American and being pro-Israel. Our interests are very much identical, and Israel serves as the American proxy in the Middle East.

I would expect you to have asked something like, "Since the U.S. and Israel have so many issues in common, how is it that the American press does not support Israel?"

Not only is it highly debatable that the media is pro Israel, but your basic premise is false.
And that is that if the media were pro Israel that would imply they are not pro American. In fact, the opposite would be true. That a pro Israel media would be even more pro American.

Were they pro-Israel when they got caught doctoring photos during the recent unprovoked attack on Israel by Lebanon, in an attempt to make it seem as if Israel was indiscriminately slaughtering civilians (you do know that was a fabrication, don't you)?

How about this. Is TIME displaying pro-Israel sentiment?

This is a guy who recently made holocaust denial official state policy while simultaneously declaring his intention to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Just this week he declared Iran a nuclear power.

These sorts of distortions are the rule, not the exception. Our media is not pro-Israel. It's pro-terrorist, traitorous and anti-American. It's been co-opted by dangerous forces that seek the destruction of our country and the death of our families and loved ones.

i does no longer say this is one hundred% actual. The previous due Peter Jennings leaned extra in the direction of the realm of the Palestinians. yet the two way, who cares, this is a lost reason, the media has been often corrupt for years and years, and this is basically too grimy to be wiped clean. The Palestinian Authority and the Israeli government are the two corrupt structures besides and this is in straightforward terms a count of time in the previous the international breaks out into WWIII. i'm basically going to be a independent occasion observing and arranged all of it out.

Because the media is run by Pro-Israeli and Zionists, who support Israel and always condemn anything against it. The media is horribly biased, and covers up for the regime's crimes and atrocities.

Just consider how a murder in our own country gets swept aside when something occurs against Israel; it becomes front-page news if an Israeli soldier was hurt, but when it comes to children dying of disease in Africa, Palestinian children being shot down in the streets, or the prominence of heart disease in the United States, all that becomes irrelevant.

I don't think they are pro Israel. They have been anti U.S. because the Democrats were not in power . Things will some how get better when they start up in Jan.

Being pro-American does not mean looking at the US uncritically. There has to be some balance, and since you sound dissatisfied with them, I assume the media are occasionally reporting the truth.

The media in the US is owned and controlled by Jews. They tell the American people what the Jews want them to hear and are able to swing public opinion. There has been policy in effect to support Israel both militarily, and monetarily for many years. This is mainly because of media power and wealthy Jews in influential positions with Israels welfare in mind. That's the way it is in America. Money talks.
