This is more of a request rather than a question actually. I just felt sick when I knew of the German hostages kidnapped in Iraq and scheduled to be killed in 10 days. Yahoo!Answers is the only way I can reach a huge number of people, besides my blog www.dustanddreams.blogspot.com to pray with me that their lives be saved. Whoever you are, whatever your religion or ethnicity, just pray with me their lives be saved.

Time is springing forward tonight here in the ole US of A. I didn't know and didn't believe it when I was told so by a family member, so I looked into it. Aparently Bush's Energy Policy Act of 2005 changed when the time changes.

It's almost a month early and not even spring yet, however will I remember without the old fall back and spring forward thing to remind me.

Oh, woe is me...

True they did voluntarily enlist, but they joined to defend their country.. is that what we are doing in Iraq? No WMD's after all, and now many feel it 's an illegal war, an occupation of their land to force our ways (democracy) on them, which many Iraqi don't want. I think our GI's should not be prosecuted for refusing on oral grounds, or else the government is forcing them to be immoral.

I've heard that they are a "terrorist group" or some kind of "cult". Is this true? How can we trust them? Can someone please show me proof? What have they done? Isn't there some kind of law preventing them from doing such acts? I thought it stood for People for Ethical Treatment of Animals or something! What about the case where the lady who works for PeTa killing animals and throwing them in the dumpster? Is this whole thing some crazy joke?

"A ruling from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has concluded that municipal employers have the right to censor the words "natural family," "marriage" and "family values" because that is hate speech and could scare workers. "

Two city workers posted a notice on a city office bulletin:
"Good News Employee Associations is a forum for people of Faith to express their views on the contemporary issues of the day. With respect for the Natural Family, Marriage and Family values..."

They posted the notice after homosexual groups used the city's e-mail, bulletin board, and written communications systems for promoting their views, including attacks on the bible and people of faith.

Don't you think that if the homosexual groups have the right to promote their viewpoints, the same right should be extended to the religious, family oriented? Isn't the right of free speech for all Americans?

9 days ago some British tourists and a French tourist were kidnapped in Ethiopia near the boarder of Eritrea the British government don't actually know who has the tourists and arn't sure if they are being held in Ethiopia or Eritrea.
The British government are trying docomacy to get the tourists but if the kidnappers are not listening would the British government be justified sending in the elite SAS commando unit to rescue the tourists once they know where they are being held. Or should the British Government wait and try and talk with these kidnappers who obviously aren'y interested in talking. On last night evening news there were reports that the tourists were still alive but didn't know where they were being held.
I think the government should send in the SAS to rescue the tourists because if they don't they might be killed like Ken Bigley.

I think thats it's ironic that the only country in the world that has USED....... nuclear weapons is the one dictating nuclear policy. MIGHT DOES NOT MAKE THINGS RIGHTand things like international laws and agreements need to be respected. Why is it that Israel, that has not signed the NPT is allowed to have nuclear warheads capable of wiping out the Middle East. There is no proof of Iran arming itself. Iraq war repeating itself all over again. WMD's anyone? SOUNDS SOOOOOO FAMILIAR!!
ANY WISE OPINIONS???.
