I can't see that switching dayling savings time at any time saves energy. Tonight, I will have lived through 47 of these annual time changing rituals and I've never seen the benefits.
Well, except for maybe when I was a kid. We could all stay outside and play longer.
I think it just gives Congress something to do and Americans something to bi*ch about.

where I work the lights are on 24 hours a day whether there is daylight savings or not.

One of the biggest issues where I live is the children catching the school bus, and there will be more light and that will lead to less accidents as they have to catch the bus so early.

I dont think it has a thing to do with energy, it is supposed to prompt us to all go out shopping again, sooner (it will be darker in the mornings and lighter longer in the afternoons)
