The billionaire Richard Branson recently offered $25M to whoever can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 1 billion tonnes per year and will choose a winner after 5 years. Also leading this fight on global warming is former vice president Al Gore. Apparently Branson is using profits from his airline to research alternative fuels.

But one has to think... Someone like Branson, who brings so much attention to himself through the media, could be using this for alternative motives. Also the fact that he owns an airline and contributes to global warming is a bit contradictory.

What are your thoughts on Branson's actions? Should more billionaires follow his suit? Will this help? Do you even think Global warming is an issue when comparing it to the seemingly everlasting war on terrorism? Let's hear your opinions.

Ok....flashback to when gas was over $3 a gallon. We were told it was that high because we are using too much, supply and demand.....and if we used less it would cost less..blah blah blah.
I heard an interesting story on the news about a month ago. Winter was warm in the east and nobody was crankin up the heat. Oil prices were plummeting, and OPEC decided to SLOW production in order to raise the PRICE!!!
(just a blurb of a story....once, only once, and not a mention since) What happened to it's all our fault and supply and demand??? I think we've been duped. What do you think?

Allegedly, while a man was posting stakes for his new lawn in a rural community north of New York City, a giant rat jumped from the ground attacking the man while being caught on camera. The rat was of irish origin and is appeared to have migrated with many more rodents to the New York City-Boston area from ships leaving port in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Some predict the rats to be migrating West across America. What are your opinions?

Did you know several thousands of Americans has been charged and convicted of this crime for simply being on the same grounds of minors with drugs and or alcohol with no sexual acts involved? Not even reckless eyeballing! Why can't the charge be for just what it says it is and rid the preditors from society and convict the others for something other than something misleading?

Dangling $25 million in front of the world to SAVE the world...

Here's a few hints Richard.

1. $25 million dollars is about scratch for any serious R&D on anything, so trying to do this on the cheap(and SAVE the world, is as likely as monkeys flying out of your rear hind quarters(average cost JUST to launch the Space Shuttle;$500 million), so where you going wit' 25 little ones, you'll have to let us know. You might make a better lightbulb for 25 million...

2. The human being and overpopulation are the greatest threat to the world, so if you want to SAVE the world, start a trust-fund for massive birth-control/sterilization, education. Like bacteia in a petri dish, were fast consuming everything in the system, and going to crash. It's happened before, and you know s--t happens.

Disease and famine are natures clearing house. Nature will take care of this long after we f-ed it all up!

With a 90% Albanian majority is it fair for Kosovo to split away from Serbia, merely because of the vast majority of residents want to be a part of Albania? In that event, should Bosnia be annexed into Serbia, since there is an 85% Serb majority in Bosnia who would like to join up with Serbia? How is one justified (Kosovo) and not the other (Bosnia)? Yes, there was ethnic cleansing in Bosnia, but there was also Al Quaeda backed Serb cleansing in Kosovo. Also note that Kosovo has always made up a large portion of Serbia, and the only reason why it would not be Serbia is because of the new proposed UN initiative. What do you think?

Considering the war ended 61 years ago and i'm 28 I would have no difficulties speaking German as I would have grown up speaking it. And unlike most Americans I would probably have a great grasp of English and some other language as well.
