Dangling $25 million in front of the world to SAVE the world...

Here's a few hints Richard.

1. $25 million dollars is about scratch for any serious R&D on anything, so trying to do this on the cheap(and SAVE the world, is as likely as monkeys flying out of your rear hind quarters(average cost JUST to launch the Space Shuttle;$500 million), so where you going wit' 25 little ones, you'll have to let us know. You might make a better lightbulb for 25 million...

2. The human being and overpopulation are the greatest threat to the world, so if you want to SAVE the world, start a trust-fund for massive birth-control/sterilization, education. Like bacteia in a petri dish, were fast consuming everything in the system, and going to crash. It's happened before, and you know s--t happens.

Disease and famine are natures clearing house. Nature will take care of this long after we f-ed it all up!

1)You really should find out all hte facts before you shoot off your mouth. This one small part of $3 BILLION Branson is spending on environmental research

2) Overpopulation is not a major problem--the birth rate is declining--and based on the current facts (again, you should really trylearning a few) will stabilize of its own accord in a few decades.

3)The "diseas and famine" remark is the same sort of "values" espoused by the Nazis. Is that where YOU got it?

The world isn't square anymore short minded plug boy.....All anything takes is a openminded person with a bit of vision....100 years ago you'd crap your pants to see a toilet flush. It's sad too see a private person and no government offer a person a carrot to see if they can come out with an idea.I know many a university that would love to get ahold of that chump change.....what ideas have you come up with to better the planet,or are you still living in mom's basement.....PS the shuttle was outdated before it's first liftoff and never intended for deep space travel. The shuttle program will be scrapped shortly for use of cheaper rockets.....go figure.

I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first), but I'm going to disagree; wasn't it $10-million that launched the 'x prize' and possibly even a whole new commercial space-tourism industry? People set there mind on going to space as a result. This time the objective is very different, and more noble imo. Your right in regard to there being different aproaches and population is of course a major factor to polution (and other problems); I just think that sometimes it pays to attack a problem from many different angles. More power to him.

Branson is a f... idiot who would do anything for publicity, he is worse than Trump because he pretends to be a man of high standards and class. He is a redneck born in a pool of money with the typical English arrogance of those who think they belong to the English high society. Baloney !!This (private) empire that does not publish any financial informations could be as well crippled by debt and nobody would know anything about it. Do not trust a company that does not mention any financial data on its own website . Branson excels at paying lip service to everybody and lures you in the conviction that his business is sound. It is a conglomerate of unrelated activities and there is no way to know whether any of them is making money or heavily subsidized by the banks....He is a buffoon !!
