Murabak: "‘We must take advantage of peaceful uses of nuclear energy; we do not start from a vacuum, and we possess a knowledge of these techniques which enables us to proceed. We want to develop nuclear energy"

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak made this surprising declaration Thursday, saying that his country wants "to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes."

"We must take advantage of new and renewable energy sources, including the peaceful uses of nuclear energy, and I call for a serious dialogue which takes into account the clean and cheap sources of energy available through nuclear technologies," he said.

humm. the article further emphasized that the US and Egypt are "friends".
But no. Egypt may well have a plan for "peaceful uses for nuclear energy, but it looks as the though the ENTIRE region simply does not want to be left behind.
"Peaceful purposes" will soon be par for course.

America is really a dominating country in the world now. Nothing is wrong with that. It has all its resources. But what i think personally think isthat, it should not misuse its valuable human soldiers in wars and try to invade other countries and take over them. Instead it may use all these billions of dollars for the uplift of its own country. What I really want to know is that When is this world gonna teach a good lesson to all these over breach.

Most who post their true feelings that may be perceived as disrespectful, do so with a ring of humor moreso than seriousness because the administration has planted so many seeds of untruthfulness and deceit and we realize that no one can do anything about it
But you see, No one likes living a lie. Or being lied TO.No one likes being required to accept every lie put forth by this administration. No one likes everything this president has done either! So with those of us who really want to respect this man, for those of us who have given this man the benefit of the doubt for nearly two presidential terms thus far, for those of us who have WAITED patiently for some sign, some word, some action that we will again be HONESTLY perceived as the best country in the world, despite mistakes made by her president, we sit and wait and pray and JOKE to make our frustrations more bearable. There is indeed humor in every situation.

I tried my representative David Dreier and senators Boxer and Feinstein and couldn't even get them to respond to this idea.
Every taxpayer needs to demand from our representatives that they at least survey our opinions and debate openly before rubber-stamping the Israeli Lobby's request to continue our three billion dollars a year rearming of Israel that we've been doing for over 30 years.
Their indiscriminate use of our cluster bombs is still killing and maiming people in Lebanon, which recruits more suicide bombers for Hezbollah and Hamas.

What should be done with these "Thugs" who attack hospital staff.
It seems to be on the increase and I think the staff should be better protected than they currently are here in the UK.
Should there be stiffer sentences,and should they be made to carry out Community services upon their release and work in a hospital ?
