I like what Writer of Truth said, "Saddam and good ole Charlie".
Yeah, the people making so much noise over there are probably the same extremists that want to blow all of us up. I'd be very suprised if the majority of Iraq was Saddam sympathizers. What choice have they ever had? Hopefully now they will have what we take for granted.

I guess with anything there are people on both sides. The media trying not to be bias has to report it, even though it may be a minority of view (or is it?). So sometimes the media can get carried away and end up giving more voice to groups who may not deserve it. How often do you a stories about people who agree with the war in Iraq compared to those who protest? Or the thousands of Iraqis who want the peace keeping forces there? You always here about another suicide bomber, who blown up another bunch new police or army recruits.

I'm taking it with a grain of salt. Weren't there people rallying when Charles Manson was sentenced to death? Yeah... I'd place Saddam and good ole Charlie in the same boat as far as their morals and their mental competence.

Some did. Many more complained to their government when the judge presiding over his case said he was not a dictator. The judge was relieved of his duties by popular demand. I think that says more about how the majority of Iraquis feel about Saddam.

Some Iraqis had so much hope when the US invaded their country. False objectives, mismanagement and racism has set up a disasterous situation. Imagine living in a country of rubble, bombs and guns? Never let the perpetuators, this Administration, who lied to the American people, get a passing grade from you. Challenge this Administration with your letters and thoughts. It is your Right!

I read this today, but I can't remember where. There have been more deaths per year DURING the US occupation than when Saddam was in power. Go figure...

It would be at most 10-15% of the people. Most are glad he is gone.
