Your question, in addition to be nothing but a not so subtle insult, is also wrong.
In fact, your most basic belief about America is wrong.
Here are the 1797 Congress's unanimous and exact words. This is our Founding Fathers telling us exactly what they meant:

Think about this. Conservatives are wrong about this just like everything else they belief is also false.
That makes them the danger to the country.
The First Amendment does not say that stupid white-trash Christians get to make the rules or run the country.

On the contrary, we Liberals are the ones who want to preserve America, which means preserving the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Bush and his buddies seem to want to throw all that out the window, in which case we'll be just another crappy dictatorship. They are the un-American ones. They're brainwashed. Watch the south park episode "Chinpokomon" when the kids are brainwashed and get set to go off and bomb pearl harbor, it really reminds me of the brainwashed liberals we have to suffer the existence of today.
