there was a story on the news last night about a girl named Amber, and they basically said that she was with a registered sex offender, and i want to know who she was, how old she was, where she was found, if sh is dead or alive, because i have a friend named Amber who has been missing for 3 weeks now, and am wondering if it is her, thank you for your help. If you happen to know her last name that would be a great help for me..

Whether it be on the grounds of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability etc . . . .

My apologies for suggesting that religious discrimination is the same as racism, this is because currently the legislation applied to religious discrimination is the RRA (Race Relations Act) or the HRA (Human Rights Act)

see the link

I am sure discrimination is against the community guidelines, what do you think?

Bill Maher once said: "We have been the cowards lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That's cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building, say what you want about it, it's not cowardly." He lost his show on ABC because of it.

Rush Limbaugh had the following exchange on his show:

CALLER: "What's really funny is, they [Iraq war critics] never talk to real soldiers. They like to pull these soldiers that come up out of the blue and talk to the media."
RUSH: "The phony soldiers."

If there's a liberal bias in the U.S. media why is Clear Channel's CEO defending Rush? Is it simply that his show is profitable while Maher's was less so?

last week most of the tabloids carried a picture of a little girl spotted in Morocco who was clearly not the missing 4 year old - the next day the true identity of the girl in the picture was revealed. I feel that the press knew full well that the picture was not of madeleine, what do you think?

For those of you who are so adamant that Kate & Gerry McCann are guilty of 'neglect' (I am not), I ask you this.
If Madeleine was found alive and returned to her parents (very unlikely I know), would you still want them to be taken to court and put on trial for so called 'neglect'?
Some of you are SO passionate about it I just wonder if you think it would be right to take the parents away from her after all she would have been through?
I asked a similar question the other day about her being found murdered, but not by her parents and if you think they should still be put on trial, the general vibe from the 'antis' was yes they should!

Do you think that people are really hoping that the McCanns are guilty of killing Maddie, rather than imagining the unimaginable??

I sat on the fence for a long time (still do in a way) I don't know anymore than anyone on here knows..
But I really do hope that it was Kate and Gerry that killed her, because at least then she has been spared things I donot wish to think of...
Does anybody else feel the same or am I on my own??

Brian Williams, anchor for NBC News, is on the Board of Directors for the Congressional Medal of Honor Society. Last year, he was scheduled to be the Master of Ceremonies for a dinner that was attended by, and honoring, over 100 living recipients of the MoH.
Williams announced at the beginning of the dinner that he needed to leave because he had pressing business in New York.
What was the pressing business? A family engagement, a big news story, an emergency?

Williams had a ONE MINUTE CAMEO on "Saturday Night Live"!!

Is this the example he should set for others? Is this any way to treat the 100+ men in attendance that had risked their lives for the love of their country?

Can anyone provide a valid excuse why an appearance on SNL is more important than the Medal of Honor??
