It is increasingly looking like this woman was drunk (or possibly going through withdrawal). She was on her way to an alcohol rehab clinic and had no reason...other than a long stop off at the airport bars OR not wanting to go to the clinic...for being late. She was not just a sweet, innocent housewife as she was originally portrayed. There are also reports that she was visibly upset after getting off her phone with her husband. Knowing these other things about her, and the mentality of alcoholics, I strongly suspect she was being given an ultimatum about getting to that clinic. So her bizarre behavior becomes more understandable.

That being said, if she was that out-of-control, the airport police should have left someone with her to make sure she did not hurt herself...which, tragically, she did. So there is certainly culpability on their behalf.

Seems slightly too early to say. The police don't normally willfully kill people (its quite hard to explain away a corpse) but they may have failed to restrain her properly or become 'over-enthusiastic' in her restraint. If this is thought to be the case there will be an enquiry where the Police - as usual - are found innocent..

Sayng that, probably the worst people to start getting angry and shouty at are airport Police - not the smartest of ideas.

her. if it's true she was found the way they say and she accidentally strangled herself. If thats the actual way it happened it's her stupidity for not just waiting out the process and instead trying to get free.

now if all that is a lie and a cover up story made up by the cops involved then i would say odds are they're at fault if they had to concoct a story to cover what happened. but we may never know.

but eitherway i'm surprised to hear they would leave her alonge long enough for her to attempt to free herself and accidentally choke herself to death.

and she was obviously no saint if like mother in law orignally claimed, if she was on her way to alcohol rehabilitation.

oh and as i have been handcuffed before by police it is entirely possibly to try and manuerver them around you to the front.all-be-it a lil more difficult when you're attached to a bench..but that could be why her attempt was unsuccessful

Alcohol or some other substance- it sounds like she was ballistic, and she was on her way to rehab, so perhaps her behavior was due to being under the influence of something that made her unhinged. How can we have proof when it is still under investigation by trained professionals? It's only opinion- that's all it can be at this point.

How could any of us have proof who is to blame, when the coroner hasnt released any findings?
I have an opinion, and its not gonna be a popular one.
SHE is to blame. She brought it on herself by acting like a idiot, causing a scene and resisting arrest. What do people think is going to happen when you resist arrest? That you are going to be let go and nothing will happen at all?

Probably the various drugs and alcohol that were in her system. You don't do what she did to herself unless there are some very potent chemicals rolling through your body.

she was murdered. security services in this country are completely out of control. who - if I can ask - is TSA accountable to? the answer is - themselves! A full investigation indeed! try putting handcuffs on yourself FROM BEHIND then wrapping them around your neck. how stupid are we supposed to be?
