Just popped in my head, that we stopped hearing news about them, did they finally give up???

They gave up after the last hole was drilled, 8th hole I think. The space found had all contain an oxygen level too low for human. The mine was sealed permanently. They were presumed dead.

kinda sad, they didn't even get a decent burial.

I hope the mine owner is prosecuted. Never heard any news since they called off all rescure effort.

they are making a memorial at the mine where they died.

They spent like $1 million a piece for each hole and drilled 8 holes so they did all they could do. They said the oxygen level was too low in the last hole but they were still trying to rescue the bodies. Sad isn't it?

they finally gave up they said they were entombed(in there grave basically) they only had 6 inches of space there was no way they could have survived

Worm food. In my opinion they were dead from the start.
