SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A woman who competed in a radio station’s contest to see how much water she could drink without going to the bathroom died of water intoxication, the coroner’s office said Saturday.

Jennifer Strange, 28, was found dead Friday in her suburban Rancho Cordova home hours after taking part in the “Hold Your Wee for a Wii” contest in which KDND 107.9 promised a Nintendo Wii video game system for the winner.

Do you think the radio station should be held responsible for her death?

You here them all the time. With 1 in 20 chance of being wrong but nobody reports which one's are examples of the 1 in 20!!! We have hundreds of polls reported every year, some of which are "surprising".

In addition to the 1 and 20 which assumes poll is done well to avoid bias, alot of times carefulness of the phrasing of the questions are not discussed. People can sometimes put interpretations of the polls that are false.

Why are people assuming that Shawn was a runaway???? This statement just makes me so angry! We need to watch the news and look at the details as they unfold, before deciding that we know what happened! I saw a report on the news that stated he was taken against his will at gun point. People need to stop being so judgmental and let this family reunite. Let Shawn decide on what he wants to share with the world. I am just as interested in what happened to him as anyone, but it is not for us to decide the circumstances of the disappearance, and judge him or his family on talking with the media.

I know everyone is always saying "why should we care, we are not going to be alive long enough to see it". Well you are seeing it. Pollution and war are not going to affect you but they will affect your children and possibly your childrens children. How can we prevent them? And will you do your part?

A New Jersey lawmaker is going to introduce legislation next week making it illegal to smoke inside a car with children under the age of 16 present. The new laws will make it a $500 fine and up to 30 days in jail for a first offense, $1000 and up to 6 months in jail for subsequent offenses. Have "feel good laws" and invasions of privacy gone too far? Or do you think this is a good idea?
