Yes Jade was truly fixed by the media. It has turned into a circus and all the news papers and tv news are covering it for viewing figures.
This whole race thing is really annoying me. If it had been an Irish man that had been called stupid or a paddy, would there of been such a furore. No I do not think so. There is always people that do not get on in Big Brother and this has been worse this year because of the coverage of Jade. The thing that everyone forgets though, that this is not normal condtions. The contestants are held like Prisoners, (okay very luxourios prisoners) But they are not allowed to move more than twenty feet away from one another 24 hours a day. Could everyone live like this on tv, I know I would find it very difficult. The smallest disagreement would turn into warfare because of the lack of space and time you are given to yourself. They are stressed to the eyeballs although its not obvious because they are all celebrities who are used to TV coverage.
Lay off Jade and let her apologise and get on with her life no one deserves the treatment and tv dirt that has been dished out about her.

I don't watch it, but surely you realise that the target audience here is not the UK. This programme idea started out in Europe (Holland I think) It franchises the idea to programme makers. Call me cynical but maybe Big Brother ( or whatever in Hindi) will be launched in 2008. Why else put someone with real class in amongst so many who obviously lack any class (as in quality) at all? They need controversy to survive, without this nonsense how many people in India would be watching it? Never mind the UK audience I am willing to guess that the audience figures in India went up about 1000%
Those who watch this stuff are just mugs being manipulated by advertisers, ask Car phone Warehouse who have stopped sponsorship until they see how the public react. If Jade Goody gets evicted my guess is they will restore it fairly quickly.

Yes, the media did manipulate the situation. But i still find it hard to have much sympathy for Jade. No one forced her to say those things, however much people say that scenes were edited - they didn't put words in her mouth.
