...(remember them?) along with other American (and British) soldiers who decided to hide their fear of Iraq via violence and 'punishment' of their own on petty thieves etc. who used any which way to survive the macho inexperience of the Western boys & girls (who wanted to show the boys they also could play the game) in uniform, when in fact it was the only way they could cover their fear - like cornered cats and lash out...even though 75% their prisoners were as much 'terrorists' as Lynndie England (remember her also) was English.
Result? Soldiers were either jailed for what is called 'sh.it and a shave' (id est; anything between 6 and 18 months), while others were quietly demoted...result indeed!
As for Iraq - well...despite Saddam's passing away, it may be argued that it's the same as it ever was. We are ordered almost to remember Saddam's evil - but the 'power' of the West came not entirely with maturity or morals.
