If we have the power, why not impeach him?

Ashli,

So it's ok to be impeached for just sleeping around but it's NOT ok to be impeach for killing hundreds of our troops overseas when bush could've easily ended this war earlier?? What kinda **** is that??

No, because only Democrats can get impeached, I'm pretty sure. Also, lying to start a war is nowhere near as bad as sexual acts with your intern. Remember when we saw the nipple during the Super Bowl halftime? That almost destroyed the nation!

we do have the power, but it really is not a good time to, im a democrat i dont like bush but impeaching a president would make us pretty vulnerable. I'm kinda sad that our country is predominantly rednecks. if we weren't in this dumb war right now maybe we could, but at the moment we really aren't in good position to make a move like that. sometimes i wonder what it would be like to have al gore as president. everything would be different.

That would be absolutly genius, exept for a couple of problems. The people are afraid. The media is telling them that there are evil monsters under the bed and in the dark. And that Daddy will save you. And all the grownups support Daddy. The grownups have money and money is power.

YES WE SHOULD but getting impeached does not mean he will stop being the president, it doesn't mean anything!! I know, stupid right, you know Clinton was impeached, and still finished ,and I liked him!! I think Bush should maybe be assassinated

If he hasn't been impeached by now, he probably won't be. It takes ALOT of people
kicking and screaming to bring one on. He doesn't act alone. Other people should share the blame with him.

No way! Bush has stood up for this country and defended us when we needed it most. I'm sick and tired of hearing people put down the president. Just a short time as president he had to deal with something so major that I bet 3/4 of the past presidents wouldn't have done as good of a job as Bush did. When those idiots attacked us, they declared war on us. It's only right for us to go to war to defend ourselves and fight for our country. And everyone that's against war... I wish you'd realize that the only reason we aren't speaking another language right now is because we defended ourselves in war. The only reason that this country is still standing is because we defended ourselves in war. War is ugly but it's necessary most of the time. If you don't defend yourself you get killed. But back to Bush...he's had his goofy moments but we all have those. And besides, he hasn't been caught sleeping around with another woman, so I'd say he's doing a really good job.

And in response to "random" - this country isn't predominately rednecks as you say! The truth is that illegal immigrants are pouring into this country daily. Fellow Americans aren't your problem, illegal immigrants are. We should be putting up a bigger fight than what we are about this. We need to send these people back to their home! I'm just looking out for the betterment of America!

In response to you....yes! We are not going to impeach a president for declaring war. That's stupid! As far as the troops loosing their lives, yea, that's sad and no one wants to see that, but they knew that dying for thier country was a major possibility when they signed up! How do you think it makes them feel when they hear that the American's they are fighting for don't believe in them or this war? If we hadn't went to war than all those dead people would be us and our kids and our families. War is apart of life. Do you think we should stand around with our thumbs up our a** when we were attacked? If you think so than you are so wrong. I'm proud of the troops and I think that George Bush did exactly what he should have done. I know that everyone wants the troops home and this war over, but there is unfinished work. We have eliminated their dictator, now we have to show them how to set up a democracy.

NO!
1. Because he has not committed any impeachable acts yet.
2. Because it is not a majority that wants him out of power.
