Ok i just wanna know who thinks what ?
Do u think Saddam was hanged today? or before today?
Is there anyone who thinks he was not hanged?

How come the whole video was not shown? how come some channels say the tape run out, others say they taped the whole thing?

On TV, They showed the bodies of his brother n son that they killed in Iraq! So y cant they show him dying? how come the US gov. recons Osama has kidney prob n is walkin arnd in the mountains with his dialysis machines???!!! come on ppl, do the maths n physics in ur heads!!

The U.S had custody of his funky butt right up until he was to be executed. I highly doubt there's a whole Roswell conspiracy thing going on here but I'm sure someone will turn it into that. The reason the whole video isn't being shown is probably because an execution is violent and the U.S doesn't show that kind of footage on TV. As far as different stations saying 'the tape ran out', I assume different stations paid for different versions depending on how much they wanted to show of the actual execution. Some channels would naturally show more and some less.

Yes Saddam is dead, we've got big time media coverage. Now Americans are trying to cover their butts for their interferrence in this country even the journalist on CNN are cutting off reports from their own people while they are trying to speak out against this hanging. Trying to show just how bad he was, yet, just wait it ain't over yet.

Respect of a human being dying, why is it so important to show all the gory details (sick). He went out in dignity and he'll be remembered as a martyr now. Thanks America. Had you left him in prison he would've died without recognition, NOW, the whole world is ashamed for such actions, exception: the Americans again are happy, cheering, calling this the best of the year, president Bush saying justice has been done, all the while he should be put on trial too.

You can watch the video up to the point where he is hanged. They suddenly stop recording at that point. The video is clear and you can see him and the executioners in great detail.

They record again after the body is removed from the gallows. The video is poor quality and you cannot tell if it really is him or not. His face is covered with a cloth except for his nose and parts of his eyes.

Why did they stop the video before the actual execution when they had declared they would show it on TV?

Why is video so poor after he is removed from the gallows?

Why is so much of his face covered that you cannot see him well enough to identify him on TV?

What are the chances that is was really one of his look-alikes who was executed - one who was willing to sacrifice himself for his beliefs?

Someone as rich as Saddam would have easily made a deal with the government to "look the other way" as he left the country in exchange for all his wealth being left behind.

We have good reason to believe what we have seen thru the newsmedia. Anyway, what a tragedy! In his life he ordered many people to be murdered. Even his own sons-in-law were ordered murdered because they had opposed him by betraying the cause. Then his own sons were murdered. Then he was captured brought to trial and hanged. What a life!

If he had been an anonimous mediocre citizen in a peaceful country somewhere else in the world he most probably would have been able to live to his days end and his own children and grandchildren would be able to go a step further in the universal life.

But no. In that country where inbred tribes and religious sects murder their enemies even in the name of God (peace be with Him), there is no room for a peaceful life of equal opportunities. There life is delivered to an atrocious bloody destiny.

Sadam Hussein was himself a victim. We like to say that he did so many bad things, exterminated so many thousands of innocent people, etc. etc. but in fact IT WAS NOT HIM that did it. It was his entourage, his murderous accolytes that concretely did it. They are definitely even more culpable than he was when he ordered them to commit all those retortional atrocities.

Anyway, I think there is a sort of transcendental meaning behind all this that is not up to us to grasp. Not yet. No?

he was hanged 6 am there time (9pm in Central US time). they had to do it before this important holiday. (it would be like if we executed somebody on christmas or easter). The whole video was supposedly taped in order to prove that he actually is dead. Some channels might have said the tape ran out in order to explain why they dont have the whole thing.

Yea, I think that's kind of funny too. They have the video that stops before the hanging, then the pictures of a body wrapped up in a sheet. There's a pretty important gap missing there. I'm not convinced yet, not until the pictures of Lynndie England pointing at his pathetic little pecker start floating around ; )

A) You CAN'T be serious. Do we THINK Saddam was hanged? o_O LIke, it's not on every single channel on TV?
B) They don't show the tape because it's a tape of someone being MURDERED. They're not going to show that on TV. It's not rocket science.

Saddam IS dead. It WAS recorded. All hasn't been shown yet. Due to respect and the nature of it I guess. But sooner or later all of it will be released.
