He's such a great guy, caring for all the worlds problems (which he didn't do before he realised the commercial success of Live aid) ... yeah, I love guys worth over £200m harping on about poverty, and how we should all do more ..... like him giving £199m away and still being richer than 99% of the worlds population .... he's such a great guy to be so rich and yet care SO, SO much about poverty.....

should he be knighted for his outstanding contributions towards eradicating it?

What is it with Israel?

They Killed a total of 56 innocent people, 35 of them children. And they so no remorse? no sorrow, I mean seriously have they no shame?! have they no feelings of emiotion or sadness, for all they innocent children, those life they had just ended?! I mean what have the men women and children of Lebanon done to deserve this? This is Murder what Israel are doing! And The UN is like "Go ahead, you give a crap about innocent Human life".

Why is the UN and the EU just letting this happen?

In the past, in order to illustrate American’s economic powerful, it used to say “When US sneezes, the rest of the world has got a pneumonia”

Now it uses to say “When US sneezes, the rest of the world has a vaccination and the vaccine is provided by China”.

Do you think it is immoral for Blair to not be calling for a ceasefire in Lebanon?

Despite all those pictures of small children being pulled from the bombed building at Qana, Blair still has not issued a basic call for a temporary or permanent cessation of fighting. This leaves the UK diplomatically out on limb (with the US) as being one of the few nations not to.

Given the lack of diplomacy that the Israeli government have historically always shown, this is a green light for them to continue showing disregard for the civilian population, and as already seen on the TV - the Red Cross and UN observers.

Strong nations do not retaliate against terrorists by losing a sense of humanity. The equivalent scenario would have been if the British had shelled areas in Ireland where they knew IRA cells were based - they did not.

I think Blair's lack of moral leadership and non-representation of the majority of British people against the conflict, is potentially leaving us susceptible to more suicide bombers in the future
