I 'googled' "nostradamus" the other day, and read that........
we were gonna have WW3 come 2007, and that the world was gonna end in 2012, but if we belive everything we read or hear, then theese 'bad times' would of happened a few months ago ! ! !

Violence is not the answer, true, but it appears that too many governments and fascist factions believe it is the solution.
It does appear that a third world war is imminent but I'm not so sure that anyone is actually going to go to the lengths of nuclear weapons, just yet anyway.
A world war doesn't mean 'all' countries are involved so it actually seems that we are already in a world war. Can't stand the idea of this so-called "war on terrorism" either. If one truly defines terrorism, it is nothing more than an act of terrorising and causing fear. Governments and religions have both been doing that for millenia and it isn't going to stop.
I wish people would start standing up to their governments and making their voices heard. There are more of us that want peace than those that want genocide. The media just simply forgets to include the majority in their news casts.

this is a small issue of occupier's (Israel) encroaching other's land's , in this case Lebanon. This is between a country and a terrorist group. A world war would be when it's fought amongst equal's or atleast between two countries. This is nowhere near the start of the WW3.

Yes. But it is not like the one previous 2 World War. This was is about resources, rather than increase in might. With the world resources dwindling, it is harder and harder to improve the well being of ones country.
In economics, supply and demand. We are the demand and the resources the supply. So country might think that to increase the supply, they just cut down the demands.
War is but a tool to do that.

It's all so complicated in the Middle East that I haven't a clue how its going to end. If Israel would just stop trying to eradicate all of its neighbours and also accept some responsibility for once then that might help!

If LIBERALS don't get in step and start supporting America, who is wrongly blamed by idiots and liberals for everything, we probably are. I just had a discussion this morning with a level-headed thinker who agreed with me on practically everything I said, so there is HOPE for this world yet if we will ACT. Status quo doesn't get it, people..just gives terrorists more time to get weapons, whiuch they will use as Hezbollah is now doing, and the UN will gladly allow them to do so. Kofi Annan is a WORTHLESS human being.

a guy asked lastnight on here what the forecast is in the middle east over the next month and one reply was predicting that israel attacks iran. well that would be it because both countries have the bomb and the iranian leader has stated that he wants israel wiped off the face of the earth.

The Boot and Chopps said it all. And speaking of attacking Iran...
There's now intellegence reports that the leader of Hezbollah is hiding out in the Iranian embassy in Beruit.
If the intellegence is confirmed, Israel WILL attack the Iranian embassy.
When that happens, hold onto your hats.

unfortunately yes i think we are. The western worls policital manipulation in the last 100+ years has finally exploded in their face. Even Europeans are hating their own leaders. However i dont agree with peace and violence kills, etc... Islamic terrorism is the biggest uncertainty affecting our quality of life. What are we suppose to do? Pretend we're happy families and live alongside potential fundamentalists who will kill you and your kids at the next jihad meeting?!

I really hope not.
If I had someone I felt I could pray to, I would.
Unfortunately we have to try and convince humans that a war would be very bad...
George get off your fat Texan butt and stop War.
