Biases aside. Why in the world would this guy be making decisions for the world when all that seems to be coming out of his mouth is obvious facts and stupidities

The UN has been a farce for longer than Kofi Annan has been around anyway so who knows... He's really just another man in a line of men heading a token organization made to look important but that in reality does absolutely nothing.

THat Resolution passed long ago calling for the disarmement of Hoezbollah sure worked, didn't it...

The UN is nothing more than a joke.

The United States and Israel should be commended for basically saying what everyone has been doing for years. Most countries only care about the UN when it's going to serve to help them by swaying public opinion in their favor.

Under the context of invasion on AFGAN / IRAQ / KUWAIT / LEBANON etc etc : I feel that the United States together with Isreal can do what they what they want even without the consent of the UN - they call themselves the superpower of the world and they even prove it in evil ways too - so whos KOFI ANNON - just a guy trying to save his job by avoiding to complain about the bullies of the world.
...by the way the US has been bombing all parts of the world right from the early 1800s for economic gain ...long long before Kofi Annon existed - US ( the greatest terrorists in the history of this planet )

For a person who is suppose to be impartial, Kofi Annan has made very strong statements about the U.S. and Israel (as well as other nations) without getting the facts first. He has a very strong bias, and is very prejudicial. He should not be head of the U.N. Then again, the U.N. has been a farce of an organization under his leaderhip (or lack thereof).

Sir, I beg to differ. It has been a difficult two weeks for my staff and myself but it was a productive fortnight. We have called for a UN-sponsored ceasefire ever since the conflict began but no country want to contribute troops. However after conferring with members of the Security Council today, we have unanimously agreed that a ceasefire is indeed needed in Lebanon whenever the time is right. Please be patient while we await positive response from countries who might want to contribute troops to be stationed in Lebanon. I expect we should be ready by Christmas time the earliest.

No, he's not an idiot. He knows where the money is! Nobody gets bigger bribes than the Secretary General of the U.N.!

Even U.S. politicians can't come close to the kind of "international support" that Kofi enjoys!

The World? Look, the only ones who disagree with him are Israel and the US. I believe the WORLD is actually behind him.

You need to expand your world.
