I think the media is putting words in his mouth. I thought his dad was the one that was against jews. I do like Mel Gibson and his movies.

I think he is a part of some strange religion sect. I think that he probably doesn't really know what he's talking about when it comes to Jews and is just reiterating what he has been taught from his church or his father, who is an antisemite. I don't really think anything of him except for that I wish he'd use his celebrity in a better way than to divide people, and influence Christians to hate Jews. Even if he doesn't outright say it, he has inadvertently caused that in places within the US.

And he shouldn't be driving drunk!

I would think it may have been miscommunicated and blown up as you say. If there is truth to what was said then shame on him... however I will reserve judgment till the rest of the story comes out.. He must of been on some serious s**t.

Even if he is right, saying bad things about Jews is not a good idea. It's like saying bad stuff about Wayne Gretzky.

Like cardinal sin.

i say yes to most of your ??s. i dont think anyone has the right to say anything negative about other ethnic groups or races. on the other hand, i also think the media sensationalizes everything just to get people going....oh, if i had as many kids as he has, i'd be drinking too : )

He was drunk. And if he did mean what he said oh well, hes a human being and can say whatever he feels even it if offends others. This kinda thing happens everyday but when a celebrity does it its big news. stupid.

I think his roots were showing. It's easy to blame the drink but those thoughts don't come free with a bottle of booze, do they?

Who cares what the media did or didn't do.

The fact remains that he was drunk.....and words out of a drunk's mouth rarely mean anything at all.
