I suggest the "donating" for the purposes in its design are reward enough. Certainly there are acknowledgements for amounts and levels one donates into and through. A MEDAL???
I betcha if ya donate 2 1/2 gallons,,more or less,,, at one time, you may get a posthumous recognition award.

Donate till dry. Sure medal for you. You even get garlands and large blankets with words on them. A band will play for you and your photo shall hang before truck or van. You shall be in the papers between the sports and the business section. You shall be remembered!

There are no medals given out for this, as far as I know. This is not a contest to see who can give the most blood for reward.

Ask them the next time you go,Whats wrong with doing somthing and not wanting somthing back,do you need somthing to show to prove to others that you give blood?Be PROUD of what you have done,Someday you will be thanked

i've never heard of a metal and I volunteered with the red cross. i'm sure its a lot if there is one.
