Why are motorists required to wear seat belts, while motorcyclists don't have to wear helmets?

I don't get it. We have to strap in toddlers and babies like their racing at the Indy 500, but motorcyclists don't have to wear helmets, jeans or even appropriate footwear. This blows me away ie Ben Rothliesberger, Kellen Winslow Jr, and what's his name that was supposed to play for the Bulls.

America is a nation of plenty, and many are obese, more people are having to resort to food pantries, why?

There are many news articles on obesity, yet few on the number of Americans who are malnourished or food insufficient. America's food bank networks have difficulty obtaining sufficient food and cash donations or volunteers to help everyone in need. Is this a reflection on the generosity of Americans?

Are you against websites that show EXTREMELY GRUESOME VIDEOS AND PHOTOS OF THINGS LIKE BEHEADINGS IN IRAQ?

I have opposing views about them. Of course, they are only for strong minded people. I am certainly not oneof them... not for that sort of thing anyway. I have watched the BEGINNING of one beheading and could not watch the rest. The images haunted me for days. HOWEVER... who are we to IGNORE what is going on in other parts of OUR planet ? Don't we owe it t the people who suffered those horrendous deaths to see what they went through and how much they suffered ? How do I reconcile the two ? How do YOU reconcile those two ? All I know is that... if I had met a death such as BEHEADING I would like to WHOLE world to see how I went. I think that's normal. What do you think ? (I have not deliberately divulge the name of that website because there are children amongst us)
