So why do we have troops in other people countries? Why did we fund Osama Bin Laden in the first place?

The real difference between the Christian World and the Islamic world, at the moment, is this: the Christian world is extremely well off, and most Islamics are poor. When you're poor, you're a lot more discontented, and a lot more ready to call down fire on everyone who's better off than you are. If the Islamic world was rich, while we starved in poverty, I'm sure the rolls would be reversed; already we have our fundies...what if the nation had other reasons for hatred? How easy would it be for us to support them?
