It's probably because you haven't been around too many females in the flesh.

It has nothing to do with genetics or brain chemistry. I'm just as scared of math, chemistry and physics and I'm a guy. It is all a result of social development. Women are perceived by our society as being more emotional than men, and have thus always been discouraged from using the analytical parts of their brains. But some of the world's most renowned scientists and analytical thinkers have been women.

Well, I am a female, BS in Physics and teach Maths, Physics, Quemistry, and Technology to children from 11 to 17.
Who talked about being scared???????

Females are NOT scared of math, chemistry and physics.
Maybe the ones you know are...
In some cultures, women are told that these are "men's fields", and so they avoid them.
When girls are encouraged to pursue these fields, they do -- and they do a good job, too!

One night math, chemistry and physics snuck up behind me in a dark alley and I kicked their asses! I haven't been scared of them ever since.

I love math and science so I never fear those subjects. I believe its a stereotype that females can't excel in those fields which we can.

LOL, i have no idea.. Im not scared of it, actually taking math for college and im doing pretty damn good, better then i thought. Sorry couldnt answer your question!
