I have opposing views about them. Of course, they are only for strong minded people. I am certainly not oneof them... not for that sort of thing anyway. I have watched the BEGINNING of one beheading and could not watch the rest. The images haunted me for days. HOWEVER... who are we to IGNORE what is going on in other parts of OUR planet ? Don't we owe it t the people who suffered those horrendous deaths to see what they went through and how much they suffered ? How do I reconcile the two ? How do YOU reconcile those two ? All I know is that... if I had met a death such as BEHEADING I would like to WHOLE world to see how I went. I think that's normal. What do you think ? (I have not deliberately divulge the name of that website because there are children amongst us)

First, no, I am not against them. The information is there for whoever chooses to watch it.

Secondly, I strongly believe that being supportive and compassionate to people are important. In that vain, anything that renders us helpless or distraught counters our ability to remain focused in our efforts to help others. Therefore, I would argue that it's not necessary to "watch" the executions in order to acknowledge that kind of inhumanity occurs thereby leaving your sensibilities intact to contribute to the fight against those kinds of atrocities (in whatever way seems best suited to your time and interests).

Finally, and this has nothing to do with your original question, this website and your reaction is one of the many reasons I am vehemently opposed to violence being used as a form of entertainment. Until we, as a society, stop seeing child abuse, rape, murder and other forms of random violence as "entertaining," the real abuse going on in the world becomes a punchline instead of a real social issue.

I personally feel that these websites of videos showing beheadings.. or such stuff are made to induldge a kind of fear in the person who watches them.... ultimately when you see them there is a fear in you... so the people have succeeded in freaking you out....From another point of veiw I also think that these videos... also make you understand what is actually happening in the world today.....though its disgusting...... the innocent people are being killed in between all this........ IM TOTALLY AGAINST SUCH THINGS!!!!!!

Sad, there are many masochists out there that thrive on seeing others suffer. I don't condone such acts unless the punishment fits the crime.
On the other hand the most memorable men in histroy have been the biggest tyrants.
