please help. It's my 1st time buying hand gun.

According to Federal law you can only buy a gun in your home state and you must present ID to do it. To buy in another state you would have to get a local gun dealer to provide a federal firearms license (FFL) to the person you were buying from and then the local dealer would have to sell the gun to you. (cars kill more people but guns have more regulations. go figure)

i do not think so, NY is strict in there gun laws. if you buy one out of state it will need to be transfered through a dealer in your state.
i would recomend going to a gun store with a gun range and trying out a handgun before you buy it. i have one that i did not try first. it fits my hand when holding, but i do not feel i have good controle during the recoial.
