What takes place when someone files a complaint with the BBB? Does the BBB actually contact that business...even if they are NOT a member?

I want to start getting a Sunday paper delivered to me, mostly for the ads and coupons. I live in the NW suburbs (Schaumburg/Rolling Meadows area). I think my choices are pretty much the Chicago Tribune or the Daily Herald. Apparently the Chicago Sun-Times is more of a tabloid? I want actual fair and balanced reporting (not the biased type of "fair and balanced" that they have on Fox News!), as well.

So, if you have any experience with these newspapers, please share your opinions of them with me. I would like to know if they have a lot of coupons and good ads, and if the newspaper itself is biased towards the right or the left or not.

I understand that Hilton Inn ownes Hampton Inns. Do you know anyone who works in Human Resources for one of these companies? If so, I need an e-mail address...so I can file a complaint. I tried looking it up, but I only got one short reply, and that person never answered back again. Any ideas? I'm sure somebody out there must work for one of these places.

I have had 2 sales fall through on my property and I'm getting to the stage where finances are a nightmare! I'm fourteen and really want a job. I live in Manhattan, New york City. People say babysitting, but like that doesn't work because most people who want babysitter's are like expecting nannies and ****, and I'm fourteen so that doesn't work out. Also, people talk about those survey thing's, but my dad won't let me use his credit card, and won't let me apply for my own, which suck's. So if anyone know's any ideas, or live sin New york and know's places that will accept fourteen year old's I would greatly appreciate it :)

A department store's flyer (Mervynn's) advertised a good price for all sizes of electric blankets including king. I got there 1 hour after the doors opened and although they had many in other sizes, there were no kings. The manager said they have no control over what is shipped or advertised. He would not give me a rain check or a comparable item at the the same price. I want the good price but also feel they should do something for people who make a special trip because of their ad. Can I do anything? Thank you.
