A group of us from Pearl Harbor are being transfered to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 7 months or so. We're looking to rent apartments in Silverdale but read so many horrible reviews about several complexes. I also heard that Bremerton isn't much of a friendly place either. We're getting a good amount of per diem also.

So I place and order on thursday, dec 28., 2006 on TigerDirect.com, and I choose UPS Second Day for shipping. Now 3 days later, I check the status of the order and it says:

Order Status: To Drop Shipper - Your order being submitted to third-party warehouse for fulfillment and delivery. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing and shipment.

So now I have to wait 1-2 weeks to get the item? I chose second day, so should I get it on monday or tuesday the following week of the order?

I need an application to be postmarked by the 2nd (tuesday). Is there any way that I can get this done? It's just a letter (in a legal envelope...so it requires a little more postage). Is there any other way that I can get this posted (minus the usps, as they arent freakin open because of the holidays).
