You are kidding, right? Didn't you learn that in school?
Are you American by any chance? Questions like this reinforces my observation that quite a lot Americans are ignorant and think that 1) the rest of the world is of no significance and that they don't need to take any interest in it 2) the rest of the world needs to operate they way they want - something I see reguarly in American tourists when they go overseas.
