how do I get a housing association flat in westminster?

We are currently living in a one bedroom housing association flat ,on a delapidated, mismanaged, north london estate under the management of 5 housing associations-there is mega crime, and antisocial behaviourmand, the police are conspicious by their pedantic couldn,t care less attitude!
I,ve served in the armed forces, and my girlfriend and I would like an upgrade after 12 years of arson attacks,featured on the front page of the local rag,burglaries, and the usual inner city vandalism!
We would very much appreciate any helpfull advice for a move to westminster-all replies greatly appreciated and anticipated, in confidence-thankyou sincerly-stephen and Silvia

June Bug Overkill?

I'm being over run by june bugs. My 3 year old won't even go in the backyard when the sun starts to set. Do the candles that kill mosquito's work to kill june bugs? I am not too keen on raid-ing them to death... all the pesticide can't be good for the kids. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a question about moving...?

We are faced with having to sell our home and drastically downsize, maybe to a mobile home on our own plot of ground. I am getting on in years and it has taken me ten years to get my flowers going. Can we dig up all our roses and lilies and things and take them to a new place if we plant them the same day???
I know...silly question, but I have a lot of money in these flowers.

Where can I find out if a new home builder is good or bad?

We are currently looking at new homes. I have 3 builders whom I am looking at. Is there any where I can check to see how these builders are rated, or what kind of reputations they have? One home I am considering is by Pulte Homes. I saw allot of negative things on some websites about Pulte, but not in my state Illinois. The other builders I am considering are Town and Country Homes, and Kimball Hill Homes. Is there any place that compares builders? Do you have any opinions on the builders I listed? Thanks
