All home sales are a matter of public record and are recorded in the county clerk's office. You'll have to go to the specific county in which the home is located.

The county assessor is the most reliable source of info. Sometimes they have a web site that you can get info about the house, depending on what city you are in. Zillow.com is a great web site but often not accurate. Zillow gets its estimates by averaging homes in the area where the home inquired about is located, but doesn't base it on true records like the county assessor.
