My 15 year old daughter is obsessed with Paris and for her sweet 16 I'd like to throw her a French themed party. I thought about fondues, sparkling cider in place of wine, and Eiffel tower accents any other ideas?

How about scarves and berets for the guests. Maybe a mime could perform. French bread. French vanilla ice cream. French fries. French's mustard.

Good luck with your party, it sounds like fun.

Hi ya Blue Eyes!

That is an awesome idea!!! Don't forget about baguettes! Maybe you could have the guests make their own crepes? (super easy) Also with the decor, you could have The Mona Lisa, L'Arc de Triomphe, french songs in the background, a caricature artist drawing pix of her friends (they have them all over Paris) parfume samples to take home, escargot for brave guests, Notre dame gargoyles, the french flag etc....

There is so much you can do with this!! How fun! I want to come! :-)

No fireworks, they will all hide under the tables!
No firm theme, they will argue about it.
No work should be involved, that is for the Bourgeois.

Roast chicken and fries for the meal; pastries for dessert.
