Ok my grandparents had this empty plant pot sitting out on their back porch along with lots of other pots that had various plants in them. Then one day this weird plant started growing in ALL the pots including the empty one. They don't know where it came from but my grandpa (being the paranoid one he is) thought it might be illegal. So can you tell me what it possibly is? Here are 2 pictures I took with my phone of it.

So far, they seem to be ok with it, but I had most my plants succumb to wilt so I want to make sure it's ok.

I know I picked a green variety of seeds. My husband swears that if I pick them they'll turn green, but I've always thought they had to turn green on the vine. What should I do???

Will the apple ripen once it has fallen from the tree? Will the seeds eventually turn brown/black? The apples don't taste very nice at the moment. Why should I be losing so many apples before they are a decent size?

I have a live pine tree, actually I think a Brewer spruce, about 50-60 feet tall I'd like removed. Cut down and taken away. Any idea of what a reasonable cost would be to have this done?
If it makes any difference, I am in New York.

I would like to plant a climbing fig on my concrete fence, mainly to cover the ugly fence up!

After digging the hole to plant it in the hole promptly filled up about 1/2 way with water. After letting the water sit all day I came back to look at it and the hole was still filled with water- meaning it never drained.

If I plant my fig there will it survive, since there is so much water under the ground?

I am presuming plantlife links the three, but are they related disciplines? Where does one draw the boundary (please in simple terms) between them?

Thanks

Upon discovering the bug I cut off any infected branches and was left with a 1" thick stem no leaves and only 4" high. I considered disposing of the root stock and whatever had remained but never got round to it. After about 2 months new shoots appeared on the stem and I let them grow and they are now about 10" high. The problem is, the leaves don't look like Laurus Nobilis and certainly don't have the Bay leaf smell.
I would appreciate some advice as to why I seem to be getting a different plant.

PLEASE Help?
How can I keep them from dying? I just planted them in a partly sunny area in the front of my house. We've been watering them once a day but they say they do not need that much maintenence.

How do I take care of them so they will thrive???

The bottom leaves are dead, but the rest is absolutely fine.
I need to repot it but how do I get to the rootstock and how can I prevent it from leaning so far? At the moment I have to lean it against the wall or it will fall over. It also has a baby growing at its side, and I would like to repot this one too. I have cactus compost and a larger plastic pot. Can any one advise me how I can save my aloe vera, please?

It was doing GREAT! The best looking hanging plant on the street. When I got home last night, I noticed little brown poppyseed looking "things" all over. I wasn't sure what it was so I sprayed it with an insect spray made by Shultz. A few hours lady the plant had splotches all over it and is dying quickly. Any advice to save my plant? Thanks.

I know about the South American "3 sisters" arrangement. I'm wondering if there are any other tried and true groupings like this.

I would like to grow a type of plant that "lives above the water" but its roots hang in the water and a fish (betta perhaps?) could live with it. I'd like to use this idea for my wedding centrepieces...with a mirror underneath and candles all around. a little gravel and shells in the bottom too for decoration
