If I mixed Bone meal, coffee grounds, compost, Epsom Salt in boiling water, is it a complete tea and how long do I boil it? how much of each to how much water? I want to use this on my roses, tomatoes, hollyhocks, and other veggies.

I can't seem to stay organized and wonder how others do it? My house is big and every room is well lived in, plus I have pets. It seems like I'm always spending three straight days scrubbing and cleaning when I know I'm having company.

How do you keep your house clean?

I have a storage building that is regular wood construction with vinyl siding and a peaked metal roof. It sits directly on concrete blocks and has a plywood floor. The floor is about 10 inches from the dirt beneath the building, and as far as I can tell, the wood does not touch the soil anywhere (it might somewhere; hard to see the whole underside)

Yet there's always a wet spot on the plywood, not adjacent to the wall, when it rains and even for a while afterwards. The roof is not leaking, at least water is not coming through the ceiling or down the wall - and the soil under the building is bone dry!

Any idea how the floor is probably getting wet? Can water "wick" along the 2x4's to the lowest point of the floor? (the floor is uneven and this is the lowest point) And, any idea how to find out and fix this problem? I want to carpet and furnish in there, but until this problem is solved I'm stuck.

Thanks for any ideas.

We are building our house and think that the vinyl siding looks like it wasnt done right. There are nails in the siding at the bottom of the piece of vinyl. Its only on the first 2 rows towards the top, but not the vary top. It'svery noticeable and now some parts are starting to fall off! Does this sound right?

My basset hound (which pretty much eats everything anyway and never bother her) over a week ago devoured a plant over at my friend's house. We didn't realize it until days later when she found the almost entirely empty pot! It was a Magenta Dracaena plant. I have no idea what type that is, I'm not a plant person. She was moping around all last week and slowly got back to her self but then yesterday got really mopy again and this morning was acting very weird. Was standing in the corner, almost like she was going to throw up. I am waiting to hear from the vet but does anyone know about this plant and/or if it is toxic for pets? Should I be worried? She is drinking water and eating dry food still. Nothing ever takes her appetite away. Any help would be great!

I am thinking of purchasing this bed frame from Ikea.com. However, i see there is a reference to a 'slatted bed base' and mattress, which are not included.
All that Ikea has for sale is foam mattresses.
My question is..
can i just use any regular queen size mattress to go w/ bed frame? or do i have to purchase a specific type (i.e, the ones Ikea sells)

Here's a link to the bed:

I have a very small garden space in a raised bed. I could put the tomatoes in pots to rotate the crop, but don't like to do tomatoes in pots. I think it affects the texture and taste.

Okay, a few details she and I had already discussed as far as what in my three bedroom home with one bath, small living room and small kitchen she would do: No windows, no dusting. Vacuuming, dishes, general pick up, disinfect the bathroom. Should take 3 to 4 hours. We had also discussed that when we settled on a price, she would start. I would pay her every two weeks, the day after I get paid, and always with cash. What would you consider fair?
