I have been told that the imbalance is so bad that I will not be able to loose weight, and will continue to have major increase on unwanted hair if I do not get the hormones balanced, but the risk of breast cancer in my opinion and my husbands, is to high for me to go on medications for hormone therapy, what are your opinions on what i should do?

(me and my older sister share a name on yahoo just to let you know) but anyway i am 12 and i havent had my period yet. here is my problem my somewhat boobs have been really really really sore and tender to the point where it hurts to touch them. do i have a problem?!?! i get discharge and stuff hair down there, but i never had my boobs hurt this bad! whats going on?!?

I am afraid that I won't be able to go swimming if I have to wear a tampon. I don't really feel like sticking it up my...... what's it called anyways? I just need some basic information about how to deal with a period!!!

Sorry for being so descriptive but its necessary to tell the severity of it. It started back when I was 16 I hadnt had a period yet so the doctor gave me a pill to make me start and I ended up bleeding extremely heavy and extremely painfully for a month and half straight until they finally found a birth control to stop it. Once I was on the birth control it came once every 2.3..4 months whenever it came. A year ago I went off the birth control cuz I couldnt afford them and I havnt had one since until 2 days ago I started and ever since Ive been bleeding like crazy. It gushes out and I go through completely soaking at least 2 maxi pads every 2 hours. I woke up this morning and it the entire pad was soaked and it leaked all over my bed and floor. I feel exhausted and lightheaded as well. I cant get a hold of my doctor. What should I do? Whats Happening?

I HAVE HAD IT FOR SIX MONTHS ALREADY. I WENT TO THE DOC SIX MONTHS AGO, TO GET A PAP SMEAR, AND HE SAID IT WAS A YEAST INFECTION. SO, HE GAVE ME A PILL, AND SOME ANTIBIOTICS. I TOOK THEM FOR A WEEK AND IT WAS STILL THERE. WELL, I WENT TO THE DOC AGAIN AND HE GAVE ME A DIFFERENT ANTIBIOTIC. I TOOK THAT AND IT WAS STILL THERE. THEN I GOT MONISTAT, AND WAITED FOR IT TO GO AWAY... AND STILL HERE!!!! SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP.!! IS THIS NORMAL? THERE IS NO LEAKAGE ON MY PANTIES, OR SMELL, AND ITS NOT ITCHY. HAS ANYBODY GONE THROUGH THIS BEFORE FOR MONTHS STRAIGHT??

My daughter is 25 and having her third child. She is due the end of August. She recieved a call that she needs to return for another test because her pap came back abnormal. I am wondering if we should be worried. Could it be cancer or could it just be from the pregnancy. She has never had an abnormal pap before. How will they do the neccessary tests with her being pregnant and will it harm her child?
All of her pregnancies have been healthy, but she does have the RH negative blood which she has to have shots for or she will be sick during her entire pregnancy.
I am worried for her.

I started I'm on birthcontrol and I just started in December. The end of December. I had sex for the first time 5 days after getting my shot. A condom was used. I didn't have sex again until a month later. A condom was still used. However last week I had sex without a condom. He pulled out way before anything happend, just to be sure. Last Wednesday (when I should have had my period. The shots stop my period) I was cramping and there was some spotting. Thursday I was having very bad cramps and Friday morning I spotting even more. I didn't have anything with me at the time, so when I got home, I used a tampon. Usually my period only lasts five days. It's been six. And it's not regular blood. It's brown with a little red. It's clumpy too. I don't know what's wrong with me. Does anyone know what it might be?
