i have a very light spot of blood in my underwear? i would tell my mom if i was sure it was my period but im not. what could it possibly be.

Sounds like spotting. Which could mean that your period is about to start. Tell your mom.

Well your mom lived through the same thing you are living through right now so you should ask her. It sounds like you got your period because the first time is usually light. If you wiped and saw blood then it was prob. your period. You could also be a little irritated and that can cause a little bleeding but not out of your vagina. Usually on the skin.

It could be your period that has started, sometimes it starts that way, just spotting. Don't be shy to talk to your mom about it.
