My lady has been going through this now for 2years. Before this we made love all the time. Will we ever have sex again? It's been a long 2years and I have been trying to understand all this. I read where women still want it just as much if not more, and then I read where they don't. So whats up? Please help me! I try to talk to her but she gets mad and won't talk about it.

I forgot to mention that she is on some medication for it. Don't know what it is but her obgyn(?) perscribed it for her. And as for giving her none sexual kisses and holding her, she won't let me get close to her.

Get a second opinion on her medication, some side effects of meds make you lose your sex drive. But you really need to get her to open up and discuss this matter. And talk with her obgyn.

Ask her to talk to her obgyn. Mood swings, hot flashes, lack of desire are all normal during this time. However, she may benefit from hormone therapy (only if her doctor says it is appropriate for her).

There is no reason sex can't continue. She needs to see a gyn.
Hormones fluctuate wildly during this time. Also - she made need some lubrication.

Time and patience on both sides. You both need to understand what's happening. Buy some books on the subject. She will eventually come through it!

It depends on the individual - it not only affects their bodies, it affects their self-identity and self-image and all sorts of other things. Huge amounts of non-sexual kisses and cuddles can restore their belief that you love them for who and what they are, and the more physical side of the relationship can usually be re-kindled.

Menopause is a hormonal change for all women who reach it. Therefore, that change will effect some drastically, others will be minor while others may not experience any changes. In other words, they all vary.
