Sorry for being so descriptive but its necessary to tell the severity of it. It started back when I was 16 I hadnt had a period yet so the doctor gave me a pill to make me start and I ended up bleeding extremely heavy and extremely painfully for a month and half straight until they finally found a birth control to stop it. Once I was on the birth control it came once every 2.3..4 months whenever it came. A year ago I went off the birth control cuz I couldnt afford them and I havnt had one since until 2 days ago I started and ever since Ive been bleeding like crazy. It gushes out and I go through completely soaking at least 2 maxi pads every 2 hours. I woke up this morning and it the entire pad was soaked and it leaked all over my bed and floor. I feel exhausted and lightheaded as well. I cant get a hold of my doctor. What should I do? Whats Happening?

You need to see a doctor NOW. If you can't get a hold of yours, go to the ER.

I agree with the other person. You need medical attention immediately. I would suggest going to the ER. You may have a miscarriage if you are sexually active. If the bleeding is continuous, you may need a D&C from a gynecologist.

go to the emergency room ASAP or call another dr. the way ur bleeding u need to be seen soon, dont wait. You could have a uterine fibriod which will cause your symptoms.I know I went thru the same thing.ended up having surgery to have it stopped.total abdominal hystorictomy. But there is a shot that they can give you to stop the bleeding if it is a uf. good luck.

I agree. This is definitely a matter for a doctor. It sounds serious. But you will never know till you go get checked out.
