I just got my first period 3 days ago. Is it normal for it to sometimes be really light and then be really heavy.

I hate it, I've been on it since mid June and I've been on my period every since mid July. I'm due to go back to the clinic on Wednesday and I think I'm going to go on the pill.

On the leaflet that comes with the injection, it says that after stopping the injection it can take a few months for your periods and fertility to go back to normal.

But... when people have heavy periods while on the injection, clinics can offer to give you the pill at the sane time to reduce/stop the bleeding.

So... if I go on the pill as soon as I come off the injection will my periods come back to normal soon?


Has anybody done this before?

How long did it take for you?

I have been experiencing bleeding, somewhat similar to my normal period, this week although it has only been 1 week since i finished my last period. i have had sex with a new guy this week gone but not since saturday and experienced bleeding from monday up until now. i am concerned as this has never happened before. sex was unprotected, im not on the pill and some discomfort had during sex but not after. have you heard of this? can you offer advice besides seeing my gp/gyno?

My last period was on oct 13th. My husband and I had sex on the 20th and 28th. He wore a concom with spermicidal lubricant on it and did not ejaculate inside me. I am on a 33 day cycle so I was supposed to get my next period on nov 15th. I ovulated normally and was PMSing. Nov 15th came around and still no period. I took h.p.t.'s (EPT digital and Clear Blue digital) on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 10th days of my missed period. They all came up negative. I have been under alot of stress lately with family and work, and went back to work where I work with all females in september after taking off from may-sept. I know all that can effect my cycle, but isn't 12 days a long time to be late. Am I just worring about nothing here or is there something to be worried about?

It's not time for my period, but in the past week, I've had sex with my fiance twice, and both times, i bled. this isn't the first time I've had sex, and this isn't the first time we've had sex together, so those two can be ruled out. the first time I didn't bleed as much as the second time. I'm going for an surgery soon, and i would like to go for a dive trip 3mth after my surgery. I'm afraid i'm not fit to dive by then.. but my doctor advise me not to do too straintaneous excercise after the surgery, but never tell me how long i need to wait. and is an open seasons in malaysia waters..
