The physical effects are easier to deal with. Take Midol for cramps and bloating. Some exercise usually helps with the cramps, too, as do heating pads and keeping warm. Don't eat or drink too much sugary stuff, and stay away from caffiene. If your cramps are so bad that you are incapacitated, you should look into birth control pills. There are some pills that will help lessen the cramps.
As far as the mental and emotional symptoms of PMS, I'm sorry, I wish I could give you a simple treatment for depression and anger, but all I can say is to try exercising (releases endorphins so you'll feel happier) and keep away from people if you're too upset to carry on a normal conversation.

Diet changes, avoiding too much salt and sugar intake, getting lots of calcium helps. Also, getting plenty of exercise and staying in a healthy weight range helps. You may also want to see a doctor about getting on hormonal birth control so that you can suppress menstration (not get periods) or the hormones may simply help you with some of the physical as well as the emotional strains of pms. Some women also react well to taking prozac or other antidepressants when they have severe emotional reactions to pms.

properly, i wager your very fortunate then because it wasn't this type of walk contained in the park for me. I actually have endomitriosis which causes extreme discomfort, nausea, diarrhea, huge blood clots, a era that very last about 8-10day with about a million-a million/2 to 2wks off previously the subsequent one starts. Your continually hormonal and bitchy. I had a hysterectomy 6 yrs. in the past and that i'm way extra useful than i take advantage of to be. i will tell even as my hormones variety, i'm getting crabby. that's no excuse. i do not favor an excuse to be bitchy, I do it o.k. on my own.

Yaz is one of the newer pills that can help shorten a period. Also wild yam pills found at most vitamin stores can possibly help. It has an ingredient similar to estrogen and can help with those times. Be sure to check it all out with your doctor and you might wish to check out the following web site to explore any possible side effects. www.webmd.com

Drink lots of water, maybe evenmore than the human body need. Cut back on suger why you are having it. And try to do rigerous exercise or a lot of walking and standing. It end sooner if you do this, and isn't as intence.

Walking (or any exercise) helps alleviate symptoms. So does cutting down on sugar, meat and dairy. I know that's hard though, when you have PMS all you want is salt and sugar!

like you want to stop having your periods from now on or do you mean you want your current period to stop. Well if you want them to stop all together then you can get a hysterectomy. Or if you mean you want your current period to stop I don't really think there's anything to do. Go to your doctor and he/she can give you some advice on what you should do. Perhaps you can go on birth control (if you are going to continue menstruating) it can help regulate your periods. I went on it for a while.
