There could be a variety of problems why you are not getting your period. Due to a couple of factors. Your hormones are constantly changing, you could have cyst on your ovaries, which can be helped my bc, stress can delay your period, certain foods, how many times you have sex. age.

I would suggest you go to the dr and have a blood test done and have them look for specifics and they will probably do and untrasounds.

What is a menstrual cycle?
The menstrual cycle is the series of changes a woman's body goes through to prepare for a possible pregnancy. About once a month, the uterus grows a new, thickened lining (endometrium) so that it is ready to receive a fertilized egg. When there is no fertilized egg to start a pregnancy, the uterus then sheds its lining. This is the monthly menstrual bleeding (also called menstrual period) that women have from their early teen years until menopause, around age 50.

first of all if you were anorexic i think you'd know that. so i'm guessing you aren't. it could be a hormonal problem. i have a friend who was on birth control for ten years to regulate her period she got married this past year and is trying to have a baby and she didn't have a period for three months. she went to her gyno and they put her on hormonal therapy to make her have a period. there are many reasons you may not be having a period. i suggest that you make an appointment with your gyno and discuss this problem with him/her.

Do you have enough body fat? Females whose body fat percentage is dangerously low may experience amenorrhea (cessation of menstruation). Body fat is necessary for the proper production of female hormones. Maintain at least a minimum body fat percentage of 18%.
