My Grandma keeps getting bladder infections. The doctors keep putting her on antibiotics, which she takes properly. No one can figure out what's causing them. Does anyone know anything it could be? She doesn't do any of the things that commonly cause such infections. She's miserable, somebody help!

My friend asked me one day why my hands were sort of veiny, so to speak, so when I looked at hers, she didn't have the same sort of criss-crossing of veins. I figured it to be because of the kind of work I do.

Does working out attribute to the veins?

I only asked that question bcuz normally with my period i know its normal, but ive been on my new pill for a week, and accidently forgot to take it one day, in which i than realized i did have unprotected sex. so now like 2 days after im spotting with the tissue and i guess it just freaked me out some,cuz i didnt think i would start spotting after 1 day of taking the pill later than usual

Mostly everybody that i know has thier period for the maximum of 4 days and mine lasts a full week (7 days) Also i dont have my period every single month so it comes and goes as it pleases . I noticed a change in it when i had gotten into a car accident . If you can let me know i would appreciate it! ;D THNKS

Hi. I have a lump. Its under the skin and located between my labia and right leg, in the crease area. Its completely under the skin,no discoloration to the skin. Its about an inch long and 1/3 inch wide. Its painfull sometimes when sitting, really painfull if I touch it the wrong way, but most of the time I don't feel it at all. Its been there for a few weeks now.. goes from smaller to larger and less sensitive to more at will. I know alot of answers are going to be go to the doc, but I just got laid off and I don't have insurance. So I'm looking for any one who might have dealt with the same thing so they can give me the heads up. I will go to the doc if its potentially something really bad, but until then I cant spare the money.

In addition--or maybe just a coincidence.. My boyfriend had a blood clot in his shaft recently.. almost feels the same as mine but obviously in different areas. Does anyone think these are related? We are very sexual (5-6x/week), can be cause maybe?

i liked this guy, his name is alex and i flirted with him on myspace and all this stuff, and in a way i asked him out and he was like sorry i dont really think your that pretty and that really hurt me, cause everyone says im pretty and im not trying to be like omg im ugly im going to kill myself but like i dont know what to do. and on the other hand i kinda like this other guy, his name is dan. we went out to starbucks and stuff it wasa pretty bad date but ok, ( by the way both of these guys are a grade older then me and know each other) casue like wehn im around dan im just kidna like ok whatever, i kinda like you, but wheni see alex like in the halls ( i dont actualy go upto him and talk) my heart is like omg he is so hot, but he called me ugly, and i have these weird wasy of TRYING to get alexs atention and i just cant helo myself, i need someother ways to get his atention rather then screeming or jumping on a locker

I had a D&C a few months back, it was my second one in two years. I've been on the Depo Shot for almost 5 years. I didn't have any kind of period until after my last D&C. My gynecologist said that a little bleeding is to be expected but it should stop now that I am back on the Depo Shot. I receive the shot every 10 weeks. Last month I had my period the whole month long. I'm bleeding steady and heavy by times and it makes me feel tired and weak and irritable and I have a lot of cramping in my sides and private areas. Today I saw my gynecologist's nurse for my Depo shot and I told her about it. She told me that I have to take it easy for the next couple of days. My doctor is out of town and won't be back until this Monday.

How common is it for a woman to experience their periods after a D&C? All the women in my family has had D&C's and their periods stopped. Besides anemia, what else can I expect to happen to me? Serious answers only please.

I'm not having problems at home or at school,but my mind just feels so over- worked and stressed out.My body has also been feeling weak,sore,and insanely uncomfortable/awkward.Recently everything feels so wrong and "sharp".Every noise seems to be sounds like breaking glass.I am starting to get mild head aches,and my acid reflux is coming back.I am 14,if that helps at all.Any ideas what is wrong and what I can do to make this stop?

my daughter has been on the patch for about 6 mos.now and she gets really nauseated when she first puts it on,is this caused from the patch?Also she has put on weight since she started using the patch, can it make u gain weight?

I just recently had a total abdominal hysterectomy 3 weeks ago, with one ovary removed as well. Everywhere I look online it seems that I see nothing but horror stories or depressing stories regarding the recovery. I have Polycycstic Ovarian Syndrome and Endotremisiosis and was miserable before my surgery. Since having the surgery I feel like I have been given a new lease on life! I feel great!

The first week after surgery was murder, but I was off my pain killers one week after the surgery (and my pain tolerance is like negative 20!). By two weeks after the surgery I was back to my normal self - walking upright, walking normal, no pains! I am still completely following my doctor's orders by not bending, lifting, cleaning, etc. I'm the poster child for following orders! :) But I feel great! I'm walking alot and now after 3 weeks I don't even feel like I've had surgery!

Are there any others out there with great recovery stories? Let's share the joy for others!

I've never gotten cramps or sore nipples before I get my periods. I never time my periods, I don't know when they come or how long they are here, I just know that its happening.. Anyhow I'm getting really bad cramps and my nipples are really sore, they are also a bit swollen. I know I had my periods at least 3 weeks ago so I am thinking it could be happening soon, just that I'm worried that since I never got cramps or anything before could this just start up and beging now? Yeah there is a chance I could be pregnent but very unlikly because 5 years without a condom or protection with my husband and not a kid yet, I've seen doctors and they tell me everything is okay its just im not having sex on the right day but really should that matter? When I get my period, I get the worst cramps. It's physically painful to move. Getting up out of bed in the morning is excruciating, and that's saying something cause I'm a morning person who usually loves to get up in the morning and start the new day. Sometimes the pain even makes me sick to my stomach. Is that normal? Does anyone else experience this?
