Every girl has her own unique internal timetable. Most girls begin their periods from 9-16. During the year or so before menstruation starts, the physical changes that happen are underarm and pubic hair, a clear or yellow vaginal discharge, breast development, and even a growth spurt. These changes all tell you that you will be getting your period. There is no universal "day before" signal. Be patient...you will get your period.
